A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Juan Villa age 73 of O’Donnell, TX. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in O’Donnell, TX. with Fr. Sylvester Dsouza officiating. The burial will follow to the O’Donnell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Juan passed away at home surrounded by his family in O’Donnell, TX. on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born on February 14, 1957, in San Diego Michoacan, Mexico. Juan married Elisa Garcia on August 17, 1974, in Chicago, Ill.
Juan was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Villa and his mother, Caritina Villa; his brother, Faustino Villa.
Juan was a 42-year resident of O’Donnell, TX., where he worked at Wildcat MFG for over 15 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all being with his family. But his biggest passion was working at things at home to past the time and going on the weekends to do his business of DJ music service with “Triple J Productions” for over 25 years.
Juan is survived by his wife, Elisa Villa of O’Donnell, TX.; his sons, Juan Jose Villa of Lubbock, TX., and Jesus Villa of O’Donnell, TX.; his sisters, Irene Barajas of Indiana, Enedina Arellano of Lubbock, TX., Carmen Villa, Esperanza Morales, Estella Galvan, Alicia Villa, Eva Acosta, Isabel Avalos, all of Chicago, Ill; his brothers, Simon Villa, and Jose Paulo Villa, both of Chicago, Ill, and Gerardo Villa of Austin, TX.; 5 grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
