Juan Simon Navarro's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Juan Simon Navarro, age 64 of Lamesa, Texas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father John Stephen Rathinam officiating and assisted by Deacon Daniel Valenzuela. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Visitation and viewing will be held on Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.

Simon passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 Midland, Texas at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 27, 1952 in Lamesa, Texas.
Simon was a 1972 graduate of Lamesa High School and attended Howard College. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved dog "Bo". He was an avid fan of the Texas Tech Red Raider, San Francisco 49'ers and the New York Yankees. Simon enjoyed connecting with friends on Facebook and competing with people all over the world in games of Hearts and Spades Online.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Matias Collazo; his father, Domingo Navarro, Sr.; his brothers, Rudy Navarrov and Steve Navarro; his grandmother, Brigida Collazo.
Simon is survived by his most loving family, his daughters, Elsa Navarro of Midland, Texas, Elisa Benitez and husband, Chris of Lamesa, Texas, Elina Vasquez and husband, Arthur of Lamesa, Texas; his son, Juan Simon Navarro, Jr. and wife, Amanda of Lamesa, Texas; his sisters, Sylvia Ramirez, Ophelia Navarro, Isabel Navarro, Elda Navarro, all of Houston and Norma Navarro of Rockport, Texas; his brothers, Domingo Navarro, Jr. and Ray Navarro, both of Houston, Texas; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous family relatives and friends.
