JUAN ( JAY ) MOLINA V's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Juan Molina V, also known as "Jay" to his family and friends, age 28 of Lamesa, Texas at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 16, 2017 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and officiated by Father Joseph Kurumbel and assisted by Deacon Daniel Valenzuela. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Rosary prayer services will be held starting at 7:00 p.m. on both Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Jay died on Friday June 9, 2017 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on July 5, 1988 in Lubbock, Texas.
Jay was preceded in death by his grandfather, Juan Molina III and his grandmother, Guadalupe (Lupe) Valdez; his beloved cousin, T.J. Hernandez.
Jay enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, camping, playing sports with family. He never said no to anyone who asked for help and had a fascination with things and enjoyed taking them apart and create new inventions. Jay will be truly missed and will be remembered forever.
Jay is survived by his most loving family, her parents, Johnny Molina and IV and Kathy Molina of Lamesa, Texas; his children, Mireigha (Mimi) Molina of Lamesa, Texas, Ava Molina, Jasper Correa, Annie Correa, both of Slaton, Texas; his brothers, Justin Molina and spouse, Crystal of Lamesa, Texas, Chico Molina of Lamesa, Texas; his sisters, Destinie Rodriguez and spouse, Jesus of Andrews, Texas and Dee Dee Molina of Lamesa, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Jude Molina, Karter Hernandez, Kyle Molina, Jack Hernandez, Mackilyiee Rodriguez, Marley Molina; his grandparents, Tomas and Eloisa Vara of Lamesa, Texas.
Pallbearers will be, Justin Molina, Chico Molina, Rey Gonzales, Desi Barrera, Joel Cantu, Jr. Garza, Anthony Vara, J.J. Hernandez.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Fernando Soto, Erik Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez.
