A Celebration of life for Juan R. Flores, Jr. age 69 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 28, 2017 at the church of Templo Elim with Pator Arthur Balderas officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held on Friday October 27, 2017 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Juan passed away Tuesday October 24, 2017 at his home peacefully with his family. He was born on March 8, 1948 in Lamesa, Texas. Juan married Lydia Balderas on September 29, 1967 in Lamesa, Texas.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Flores, Sr. and Carolina Flores; his brother, Robert Flores.
Juan was a cement finisher in Lamesa, Texas for some Forty years plus. He enjoyed spending time with his family and Juan loved to dance.

Juan is survived by his family, his wife of Fifty years, Lydia B. Flores of Lamesa, Texas; his son, Juan Flores III of Lamesa, Texas; his daughters, Lorina Flores of Dallas, Texas, Annalisa Flores, April Sarah Alcorta, Kimberly Vasquez, all of Lamesa, Texas; his brothers, Reynaldo Flores of Lamesa, Texas, Andres Flores and Ricardo Flores, both of Odessa, Texas; his sisters, Esperanza Hernandez and Eloisa Delgado, both of Lamesa, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many family relatives and friends.
