A Memorial service will be schedule for a later date for, Johnny Manuel Moreno, age 56 of Lamesa, Texas with Gonzales Funeral Home.
Johnny passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Covenant Specialty Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on May 13, 1957 in Seminole, Texas. Johnny married Angelita Carrion on September 3, 1977 in Lamesa at The Lamesa Spanish Church of the Nazarene.
Preceded him in death was his mother, Mary Varastique and his step-father, Rito Varastique.
Johnny was employed with the Lamesa ISD for 28 years as a custodian and groundsman.
Survivors include his wife, Angelita Carrion Moreno of Lamesa; his daughters, Jessica Moreno and Jennifer Moreno, both of Lamesa; his son, Johnny Moreno, Jr. of Lamesa; one brother, Seferino Moreno of Lamesa; his sister, Leticia Mann of San Angelo, Texas; four grandchildren
