Funeral services for Joe Nava age 67 of O’Donnell, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Nueva Vida Baptist Church in O’Donnell, TX., with Pastor Lee Gamez officiating. The burial committal will follow to the O’Donnell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Nueva Vida Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Joe passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, in Lamesa, TX. He was born on September 23, 1956, in Mathis, TX.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Daivd Nava and Juanita Nava.
Joe worked at the Co-op and the City of O’Donnel for many years. He loved music, cruising-around town, scratching Lotto tickets, and always with a Lollipop in his mouth.
Joe is survived by his sons, Anthony Rodriquez of O’Donnell, TX., Santos Luna of Lubbock, TX., and Salvador Luna of Oklahoma; sisters, Angie Lopez of Lamesa, TX.,Enoemy Nava of O’Donnell, TX.,Esperanza Vergara of San Francisco, CA., and Rosa Nava Perez of O'Donnell, TX.;brothers, Daniel (Sara) Nava of Houston, TX., and Martin Nava of Lamesa, TX.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
