A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Jimmy (Santiago) Bara age 65 of Lamesa, TX. at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel, officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 27th and 28th, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Jimmy passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019 in Lamesa, TX. He was born on December14, 1953 in Lovington, NM.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albino G. Bara, Sr., and his mother, Magdalena M. Bara; his brother, Salvador Bara
Jimmy enjoyed visiting with friends.
Jimmy is survived by his children, Lorelei Bara Roberts, Santiago Dominic Bara, and Diego Angel Bara, all of San Angelo, Texas; his brothers, Augustine Bara of Stanton, Texas, Albino Bara, Jr. of Midland, Texas, David Bara, Sr. of Lamesa, Texas, and Henry Bara of Midland, Texas; his sisters, Minerva Bara of Lamesa, Texas, and Mary Bara Texidor of Midland, Texas; numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends.
