Funeral services for Jesse Joe Vasquez, Jr. age 20 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 5, 2020 at Christ the Rock Church with Pastor Josephine Gonzales officiating. The church requires everyone to wear a facial covering. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to the area Covid-19 situations we continue to practice public safety measures.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 and Friday September 4, 2020 at Gonzales Funeral Home chapel with Inspirational services with Pastor Lee Iglesias starting at 7:00 p.m.
Jesse Joe passed away on Sunday August 30, 2020 in Lamesa. He was born on June 9, 1999 in Lamesa.
He was preceded in death his uncle Vicente Vasquez, Jr.; his cousins, Cindy Vasquez and Emanuel Duran.
Jesse Joe is survived by his father, Jesse Joe Vasquez, Sr. and his step-mother, Naida Vasquez of Lamesa; his mother, Guadalupe Olvera and step-father, Eloy Olvera of Lamesa; his sister, Cassandra Vasquez, and his brothers, Nathan Jesus Vasquez, Arturo Emanuel Olvera, and Leonardo Olvera, all of Lamesa; his grandparents, Vicente Vasquez and Juana Vasquez of Lamesa, and Janie Baltazar of Lamesa; aunts, Janie Gonzalez, and Jennifer Sixtos; uncles, Alejandro Vasquez, Leroy Vasquez, Billy Vasquez, and Joe Tony Duran; cousins, Leroy Vasquez, Jr., Zaydan Garcia, Christy Vasquez, Zackary Vasquez, Andrew Vasquez, Jazzale Vasquez, Billy Joe Vasquez, Jr., Issacc Vasquez, Desteny Vasquez, Jasmine Vasquez, Jacklen Vasquez, Azelly Duran, Uriah Vasquez, Xavier Vasquez, Ayua Vasquez, Nathaly Gonzalez, Heaven Gonzales, Emilly Rose Gonzales, Olivia Gonzales, Aubree Vasquez, Naomi Vasquez, Macy Mychell Vasquez, Joaquin Lee Vasquez, Andrina Leeann Vasquez, Alaqua Alexis Vasquez, and Miranda Rose Vasquez; and numerous friends.
