Funeral services for Jennifer Savage, age 55, will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 will be held at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Jermaine Cleveland officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Jennifer Savage was born August 27, 1966, to Melva Jean Savage and Jerry Allen Pennington in Lamesa, TX. She departed this life on June 26, 2022. She attended Lamesa High School and was a lifelong memer of St. John Baptist Church.
Jennifer was a certified Nursing Assistant for Comanche Trails Nursing Home and Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home, Big Spring, TX., before retiring for health reasons.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents: Irene Savage, Ida Mae Canady, Mckinney Faggon, Bill Pennington and Myrle Pennington McCoy; brothers: Jermaine Savage and Michael Bogus; and sisters: Phyllis Dunn and Jerilyn Pennington.
Jennifer love her family and always looked forward to seeing her siblings when they came to town. She also loved her Dallas Cowboys and was one of their avid fans who never gave up hope that they would win another Super Bowl.
Jennifer leaves to cherish her memories her children: Adrian Savage of Lawton, OK.; Danica Savage of Big Spring, TX.; beloved spouse, Harold Berry of Lamesa, TX.; sisters, Jessica Fluker Calloway of Big Spring, TX., Toni Pennington of Tucson, AZ., Sherry Hill of Lubbock, TX., Gail Egbun of Houston, TX., Anita Chalk of Dayton, OH., Marcia Pennington-Bell of Mesquite, TX., and Ashton Graham of Groveton, GA.; brothers, Gerry Pennington of Clayton, OH., Terry Pennington Butler of Bronx, NY., Phil Butler of Dayton OH., Ian Edwards of Dallas, TX., Adrian Zepeda of Round Rock, TX., and Darius Pennington of Midland, TX.; grandchildren, Myla, Adrian Jr., Everett, Tyson, Ovon, and Avery; special niece, Cherice Saint Juste of Big Spring, TX.; step-daughters, Jamie Berry of New Orleans, LA., Latasha Marie Davidson of Germany; special uncles, Leon Sanders, and Joe Scott; and a host of other family and friends.
