IRMA LOPEZ MORIEL's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Irma Lopez Moriel, age 55 of Converse, Texas and formerly of Lamesa, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. will be held on Thursday and Friday with a Rosary prayer services at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and at 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Irma passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 9, 1962 in Lamesa. Irma married Adrian Moriel on October 5, 2001 in Odessa, Texas and later moved and made their home in Converse, Texas
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Maximo Lopez, Sr. and Julia Lopez; her brother, Carlitos Lopez; her sister, Minnie Ramon; her first husband, Gilbert Garza.
Irma enjoyed yard work at home, house decorating, window shopping for her home, traveling and making new friends.
Irma is survived by her most loving family, her husband, Adrian Moriel of Converse, Texas; her sons, Eric Garza of Lubbock, Texas and Jason Garza of Converse, Texas; her daughter, Christina Moriel of Converse, Texas; her brothers and sisters, Janie Macias of Kyle, Texas, Virginia Arredondo and husband Louis Arredondo of Houston, Texas, Manuel Lopez and wife, Olga Lopez of San Angelo, Texas, Olga Salinas and husband, Arnold Salinas of Odessa, Texas, Carlos Lopez and wife, Joann Lopez of Big Spring, Texas, Felix Lopez and wife, Lupe Lopez of Lamesa, Texas, Vicki Olivo of Odessa, Texas, Jungo Lopez of Odessa, Texas; Johnny Lopez and wife, Susan Lopez of Odessa, Texas; three grandchIldren; numerous family relatives and friends.
