HILARIO "LALO" QUINTANILLA's Obituary
A Chapel funeral service for Hilario "Lalo" Vela Quintanilla age 73 of Lamesa will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday June 22, 2018 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Martinez officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be Thursday June 21, 2018 starting at 1:00 p.m. with an Inspirational service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Hilario passed away on Tuesday June 19, 2018 in Lamesa. He was born on March 2, 1945 in Sebastian, Texas. Lalo married Dora Trevino on March 11, 1972 in Lamesa.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Irene Quintanilla; his parents, Tomas and Felicitas Quintanilla.
Hilario enjoyed working on cars, spending time with family, especially his with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include, his wife, Dora Quintanilla of Lamesa; his children, his son, Gaspar Quintanilla of Lamesa, his daughter, Norma Quintanilla and Nelda Quintanilla, both of Lamesa, his daughter, Nancy Spraberry and husband, Paul of Lubbock, TX., his son, Larry Quintanilla, Jr and wife Hannah of Lamesa, his daughter, Naomi Quintanilla of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Ninfa Analla of Lamesa, Hope Rios of Wilson, TX., and Connie Quintanilla of Lubbock, TX.; his brothers, Benjamin Quintanilla and Thomas Quintanilla, both of Lamesa; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
