Graveside Catholic funeral services for Guadalupe (Lupe)Salinas age 64 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Dawson County Cemetery with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Guadalupe passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, in Lamesa, TX. Lupe was born on December 12, 1958, in Mathis, TX.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita E. Guartuche, and stepfather, Victor Guartuche.
He worked for Mary and Israel Ybanez for a couple years. Lupe also worked for over 15 years as a cotton gin helper with Sparenberg Cotton Gin. Guadalupe was a very loving and wonderful person with a big heart, always helping everyone even if he didn’t know them, he knew no strangers.
Guadalupe is survived by his brothers, Pete Estraca of Seymour, TX., and Gausdelio Morin, Jr. of Lamesa, TX.; his sister, Corina G. Ulloa of Lamesa, TX., and his stepsister, Gloria Guatuche of Alice, TX.; numerous family relatives and friends.
