Funeral services in remembrance of Gregory (Greg) John Butler, age 61 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Prayer House COGIC located at 512 North 10th Street with Pastor Rufus Hunter officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held starting at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Wake Service from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Greg passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. He was born on December 7, 1959 in Lamesa, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Butler.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his sisters, Olivia Butler, Sylvia Wellington, and Sylvia Butler, all of Dallas, TX.; his aunts, Dorothy Butler of Lamesa, TX., Calanthia Butler and Carolyn Butler; his nieces, Elain Wellington, Evaun Wellington, Elaina Wellington, and Evette Harris, all of Dallas, TX.; his nephew, Stanley Williams of Dallas, TX.; a host of great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
