A Catholic funeral service mass will be celebrated for Gloria M. Guzman, age 89 of Lamesa, TX. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Jospeh Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow at Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. A Rosary service was held at 7:00p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Gloria passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday evening June 19, 2013 in Lamesa. Gloria was born on April 19, 1924 in Goulsbery, TX. She married Filiberto Guzman in 1949 in Lamesa. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Preceded her in death was her husband, Filiberto Guzman; her parents, Jose and Maria Macias; her child, Trine Manriquez; her daughter, Virginia Manriquez; her grand-daughter, Linda Hernandez; her great grandchild, Razzele Hernandez; two brothers, Joe Maricas, Sr. and Enrique Villalobos; her son-in-law, Joe Estrada, Jr.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Estrada of Lamesa, TX. and Gloria G. Lozana and her husband, Jessie Lozada, Jr. of Shallowater, TX.; nine grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren.
