GABRIEL ACOSTA JR.'s Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Gabriel Acosta, Jr. age 58 of Amarillo, Texas, and formerly of Lamesa at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held Friday, May 18th, 2018 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Gabriel passed away on Wednesday May 16th, 2018 in Amarillo, TX. He was born on January 11, 1960 in Lamesa.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Acosta, Sr. and his mother, Rafaela Acosta; his brother, Rafael Acosta.
Gabriel worked in construction, was very talened in woodworking, love football, and baskettball. He loved his children and grandkids.
Gabriel is survived by his family, his two daughters, Yanet Contreras and his son-in-law, Cesar of Scott City, KS, Sandra Molina and his son-in-law, Hervey of Scott City, KS; his son, Gabriel Acosta and his daughter-in-law, Karla of Great Bend, KS; his grandchildren, Max, Emilio, Sofia Contreas and Emma Molina, Kayley and Adrian Acosta, all of Scott City, KS; his brothers, Albert and wife, Nora Acosta of Lamesa, TX. and Martin Acosta and wife, Beatrice of Lubbock, TX.; his sisters, Teresa Flores and husband, Jerry of Amarillo, TX. and Corina Gamez and husband, Victor of Lubbock, TX.
