Funeral services for Frank Rodriguez, age 60 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Abel Hernandez officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Frank passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, in Martin County, TX. He was born on February 27, 1964, in Lamesa, TX.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Abel Henandez, Sr.; his brothers, Richard Jack Jameson, Joe Rodriguez, Alex Rodriguez; his father-in-law, Joe Hernandez.
Frank enjoyed spending his spare time with various hobbies including pool, fishing, gambling, barbecuing , listening to music, spending time with family and friends. Frank was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and watched them whenever they played. You could always catch him with his grandkids, taking them out or supporting them in all their sport activities. Frank will be greatly missed by his wife, kids and grandkids.
Frank is survived by his wife, Emily Hernandez of Lamesa, TX.; his mother, Adelita Rodriguez of Lamesa, TX.; his daughters, LeeAnn (Moises) Altamirano of Weslaco, TX., and Carolyn Rodriguez of Weslaco, TX.; his sons, John (Megan) Ortiz of Lamesa, TX., Timothy Ortiz of Lamesa, TX., and Erik (Ariana) Ortiz of Lamesa, TX.; his sister, Alice Ramirez of Hobbs, NM; his brothers, Abel Rodriguez, Jr. (Ida) of Cleveland, TX., and, Johnny Rodriguez (Diane) of Lamesa, TX.; his grandchildren, Misael Morin, Marley Zuniga, Elora Zuniga, Adel, Haley, Frank, Alex, Monalee, Andreina, his Ortiz grandchildren, Braiden, Hayden, Easton, Gavin, Leonardo, Daismeli, Ella; numerous relatives and friends.
