Eva Gurrola's Obituary
Funeral services for Eva Gurrola, age 63 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessess with Pastor Juan Ramirez. Interment will follow in Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with an Inspirational Service on Thursday starting at 7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Gurrola passed away at her home in Lamesa on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. She was born on June 8, 1953 in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. Eva married Alberto L. Gurrola in 1967 at Zaragosa Distrito Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Mrs. Gurrola was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Ignacia Cardoza; her brother, Adan Cardoza.
Eva was a faithful Jehova Witness and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Lamesa. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Eva is survived by her most loving family, her husband, Alberto L. Gurrola, Sr. of Lamesa, Texas; her sons, Alberto Gurrola, Jr. and wife, Esmeralda of Lamesa, Texas, Hector Gurrola and wife Kelcy of Lamesa, Texas, Alejandro Gurrola of Lamesa, Texas; her daughters, Alma Garcia and husband, Hugo of Lamesa, Texas, Celilia Gurrola and husband, Timothy Hamilton of San Antonio, Texas, Eva Gurrola of Amarillo, Texas, Susana Vasquez with husband, Billy Vasquez, Sr. of Lamesa, Texas; her brothers, Ruben Cardoza and wife, Ramona of Lamesa, Texas, Ignacio Cardoza and wife, Maria of Mexico, Marco Antonio Cardoza and wife, Irene of Lamesa, Texas; er sisters, Irma Cardoza of Gardendale, Texas, Yolanda Tapia and husband, Alfredo of El Paso, Texas, Teresa Fraire of Lamesa, Texas; Connie Cardoza of Hobbs, NM and surviving widow to her late brother, Adan Cardoza; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be, Hugo Garcia, Javier Ornelas, Alejandro Gurrola, Billy Vasquez, Jr., Isaac Vasquez, Jacob Fernandez, Timothy Hamilton, Billy Vasquez, Sr.
