Eugenio Garcia Sr.'s Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Eugenio Garcia, Sr., age, 95 of Lamesa, Texas, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
The family set viewing and visitation for Sunday and Monday. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday July 21, 2015 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Garcia passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Lamesa. He was born on September 11, 1919 in Mathis, Texas. He married Petra Molina in Sinton, Texas. He was a farmer for most of his life and enjoyed gardening.
Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo Garcia and Isabel Garza; his sons, Eligio Garcia, Juan Garcia.
Eugenio is survived by his family, his sons, Pedro Garcia, Manuel Garcia, both of Lamesa, Texas, Eugene Garcia of Big Spring, Texas and Marcello Garcia of Telferner, Texas; his daughters, Marie Elena Barron, Simona Moreno, Lupe Perales, all of Lamesa, Texas; 110 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 75 great-great-grandchildren.
