Eugene Jones' Obituary
Masonic funeral services are set for Eugene Jones, 92, of Lamesa, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cora Brown officiating along with the United States Navy rendering funeral honors. Burial will follow in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Visition on Friday evening, November 15, 2013
Mr. Jones was pronounced dead on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at his home.
He was born on June 10, 1921 in Stamford, Texas and had been a longtime resident of Lamesa and he was retired. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and was a 32 Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Jones, in 2003.
Survivors include his daughter, Marilynn Jeffcoat and husband Dwain of Lamesa; a brother, Ralph T. Jones and wife, Janell, of Denison, TX.; a sister, Dorothy Page and husband, Weldon, of Brownwood, TX.; and several nieces and nephews.
