Funeral services for Esperanza Gonzales, age 79 of Lamesa, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with pastors Joe and Irene Martinez officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation are Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Mrs. Gonzales passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Odessa Medical Center in Odessa, Texas. She was born on May 3, 1936 in Big Spring, Texas. She married Tele Gonzales, Jr. on June 9, 1951 in Lamesa, Texas. Esperanza enjoyed the game of softball and gardening. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Franco and Maria Ramirez; her brothers, Leo Salgado, Alfredo Salgado, Santiago Franco, Carlos Franco, Juan Ramirez; her sisters, Amelia Alaniz, Carmen Rodriguez.
Esperanza is survived by her loving family, her husband, Tele Gonzales, Jr. of Lamesa, Texas; her daughter, Alicia Gonzales of Odessa, Texas; her son, Eddie Gonzales of Lamesa, Texas; her grand-daughters, Diane Villalobos and Anthony of Odessa, Texas and Monica Lucas and Shane of New Jersey, Kassandra Gonzales and Annissa Gonzales, both of Lamesa, Texas; her brothers, Armando Salgado of Big Spring, Texas, Joe Ramirez and Manuel Ramirez, both of Colorado; her sisters, Josie Hernandez of Big Spring, Texas and Mary Paredez of Colorado; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
