A Catholic funeral service mass of christian burial will be celebrared for Ernestina Polvon Cardoza, age 37 of Lamesa, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadaluple Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Buriall will follow at Lamesa Memorial Park with funeral arrangements under the direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
A Rosary service is set for 7:00 pm on Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
An Inspirational service was set for at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jose Ramirez as officiant from Johova's Witnesses.
Ernestina passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on February 2, 1976 in Lamesa. Ernestina married Humberto Cardoza in April 1998 in Lamesa. She was best friend and Number One Fan to her beautiful daughters. She is loved endlessly by her family.
Ernestina is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernestina Ramos Armendariz, Jose and Bruna Armendariz; her paternal grandparents, Bernardo and Sofia Polvon; her uncle, Antonio Polvon.
Ernestina is survived by her husband, Humberto Cardoza; her two daughters, Alexis Cardoza and Odette Cardoza; her parents, Manuel and Rosario Polvon; her sister, Sylvia Polvon Valdez; her two nieces, Destiny Lorea Solis and Sofia Yvette Valdez, all of Lamesa, Texas; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
