Celebration of Life funeral services for Ernest Sustaita age 45 of Lubbock, TX. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at The River of Life Church located at 401 S. 1st Street in Lamesa,TX. with Pastor Rex Boyles officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery in Lamesa, TX. The funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing and visitation will be held at The River of Life Church on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Ernest passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Lubbock, TX. He was born on September 10, 1978, in Lamesa, TX.
Ernest was preceded in death by his mother, Esabel Sustaita; his paternal grandparents, Bibiano and Eluteria Sustaita; his maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Eulalia Valle.
Ernest Sustaita was a Man of God, who brought many to Christ. He was a loving father who put all his children first before himself. Ernest worked hard to maintain his family, and in the process, would help all who the Lord would bring to cross his path. He will be deeply missed by all. Ernest was a faithful member of his beloved church, The "OPEN" Church. May you continue to rejoice in the heavens seated at the table with the Lord. Tu Si Eres Soldado.
