Services for Emily Jade Gonzales of Midland, Texas were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Gonzales Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Salazar officiating. Burial followed to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Emily Jade was born in Lubbock, Texas on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 and died the same day.
Survivors include her parents, Caleb Gonzales and Valeria Bustos of Midland, TX.; a brother, Gerardo Bustos Gonzales of Midland, TX.; her grandparents, Pete and Kris Gonzales of Midland, TX., and Gerardo and Norma Bustos of Plainview, TX.; great-grandparents, Pete and Julia Gonzales of Lamesa, TX., and Sylvia Padilla of Lamesa, TX.; Maria Bustos and Jose Mendoza of Plainview, TX.; and aunts and uncles Shanielle Lara and husband James Lara of Killeen, TX., Kristian Gonzales, Ryan Gonzales and Jayden Gonzales, all of Midland, TX., and Vanessa Bustos, Jackie Bustos and Isabel Bustos, all of Plainview, TX.; and cousins Mason and Michael Lara of Killeen, TX.
She is preceded in death by a grandfather, Jesse Padilla; and great-grandmothers, Eufemia Acosta.
