Elisandro "Lito" Carrion Sr.'s Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for 81 year old, Elisandro "Lito" Carrion, Sr., of Lamesa, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2015 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Interment will follow to Lamesa Memorial Park cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Carrion passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on August 4, 1934 in Runge, Texas. Lito had worked at the Lamesa Cotton Oil Mill and later in the Oilfields until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Satunino and Celia Carrion; his brothers, Ignacio Carrion and Roberto Carrion; his sisters, Griselda Torres and Maria Acosta.
Lito is survived by his family, his sons, Elisandro (Alex) Carrion Jr., and wife Sylvia Carrion of Lamesa, Danny Carrion and wife, Anita Carrion of Lamesa; his daughter, Dora Alvarado of Lamesa; his sister, Beatrice Trevino of Hobbs, New Mexico; his grandchildren, Juan Carrion and wife, Jordan Carrion, Elisandro Carrion III and wife, Carissa Carrion, Noe Carrion, Christina Carrion, Carlos Alvardo, Jr., Stevie Ray Alavardo, Isaac Alvarado; his great-grandchildren, Manuel Carrion, Eliseo Carrion, Eva Carrion.
