Graveside funeral services to honor the memory of Earl Berry, age 81 will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Earl Berry was born on December 20, 1943, in Gonzales, Texas. He transitioned February 28, 2025, in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lue Roberts, his bonus dad, Alexander Roberts, his father, Roosevelt Berry, his sister, Ruby Ray Berry, and his brother, Jimmy Berry.
Earl leaves to continue his legacy his wife, Kimela Berry of Fayetteville, North Carolina; his son, Stanely Fleming of Las Lunas, New Mexico; his daughters, Michelle Berry Wright (Alvin), Mitchuell Berry Scott, and Misty Berry, all of Los Angeles, California; his bonus daughter’s, Monica Berry-Harrell of Houston, TX., and Enjouli McLaughlin (Tyree) of North Carolina; one brother, Harold Berry of Lamesa, TX.; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives, and friends to cherish the memories they made with him. Earl was a proud veteran of the United States Army.
