Memorial services to celebrate the life of Donna Hinkle age 50 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Faith Temple Church with Pastor Jerry Walton officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Donna passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Lamesa, TX. She was born on March 2, 1973 in Big Spring, TX. Donna married Charles Hinkle on June 9, 1990, in Lamesa, TX.
Donna was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Mayfield; paternal grandparents, Raymond Mayfield; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Mayfield.
Donna was blessed with the gift of gab and could make anyone smile. She was the best salesman known to man. She loved fishing with her husband and playing with her grandchildren. Her children were her world.
Donna is survived by her husband, Charles Hinkle of Lamesa, TX; son, Taylor (Courtney) Hinkle of Fairbanks, AK; daughter, Alyssa Hinkle of Lamesa, TX., and step-daughter, Brittaney Hinkle of Midland, TX.; grand-daughters, Kiley Hinkle (Taylor) of San Antonio, TX., Aubrii Hinkle (Alyssa), Jerzii Hinkle (Alyssa), Kenzii Hinkle (Alyssa), all of Lamesa, TX., and Marley Hinkle (Taylor) of Fairbanks, AK; grandson, Jaxon Hinkle (Taylor) of Fairbanks, AK; mother, Velda Crawford of Lamesa, TX.; sister, Kati (DJ) Johnson of Comanche, TX.; brothers, Drex Mayfield of Bridgeport, TX., Tim Mayfield of North Dakota, Gene Mayfield of Arizona, and Larry Mayfield of Oklahoma; several relatives and friends.
