Funeral services for Dominique QuayShawne Adams, age 22 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 12-noon on Monday, February 22, 2016 at The Lighthouse Community Center in Lamesa with Pastor Rufus Hunter officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements and under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Family visitation hour will be on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home.
Dominique passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on February 8, 1994 in Lamesa, Texas.
Dominique was preceded in death by his grandfather, Austin Butler; his grandmother, Carolyn Adams; his great-grandmother, Mattie Adams; his aunts, Sandra Butler and Ruby Butler; his uncel Willie Butler; his nephew, Alston Thomas.
Dominique had an immense passion for basketball. He played Varsity basketball 3 years and received numerous accolades. He had a speial way with kids and loved his little sister and nephews. He loved music and rapping.
Those left to cherish his loving memory are his mother, Latona (Candy) Hunter of Lamesa, Texas; his father, Darrell (Eve) Adams of Mansfield, Texas; his sisters, Shaneque Hawkins and Ai' Nai Wesley, both of Lamesa, Texas and Dejah Adams of Mansfield, Texas; his brothers, Jacob and Devon Adams, both of Mansfield, Texas; his grandmother, Dorothy Hunter of Lamesa, Texas; his grandfather, Charlie Brown of Lamesa, Texas; his grandfather, Freddie Lee Swanson of Lamesa, Texas; his nephew, Kevin Bates of Lamesa, Texas; his special cousins, Daveonn and Izsel Thomas, Kj Hunter, all of Lamesa, Texas, Shadai Hunter of Carrollton, Texas, Austin Hunter, Makayla Hunter; special friend, Nathan Cunningham,m all of Lamesa, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins,
