Memorial funeral services for Domingo Cruz Lemon (Sonny) age 76 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Guzman officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Domingo passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at his home in Lamesa, TX. He was born on February 22, 1948, in Stanton, TX.
Domingo was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Juanita Lemon; his brothers, Fabian (Frank) Lemon, and Dan Lemon; his nephew, Joe Daniel (JD) Longoria.
Domingo was a welder until his retirement, enjoyed Bingo, dancing, love to eat, and being around family.
Domingo is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Lemon, and Josephine (Josie) Lemon, both of Lamesa, TX.; his brother, David Lemon (Delia) of Plano, IL, and Ruben Lemon (Dolores) of Whiteface, TX.; his sisters, Linda Perez of Stanton, TX., Silvia Lemon, and Christina Luna (Martin), all of Lamesa, TX.; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
