A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Dominga V. Perez, age 89 of Lamesa, TX. at 11:00 a.m.
on Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Edwardo Teo
officiating. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements
are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 22,2025, from 5:00 p.m.
until 9:00 p.m., and Thursday, October 23,2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer
service at 7:00 p.m.
Dominga passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Lubbock,
TX. She was born on December 17,1935, in George West, TX. Dominga married Antonio S. Perez on
March 21,1961, in Lamesa, TX.
Dominga was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio S. Perez; her parents, Concepcion and
Martina Verastigui; her brothers, Seferino and Gilbert; her sisters, Petra Leos and Florentina Moya;
her son-in-law, Robert Dimas, and her grandson, Joseph Dimas.
ln Loving Memory of Dominga: Dominga was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love
and warmth radiated through everything she did. She had a special gift for creating comfort-whether
through her delicious cooking, her skillful sewing and embroidery, or the joyful moments she shared
with her family.
Family was her heart. She cherished time with her children and grandchildren, especially the lively
games of Loteria with her daughters, grand kids and anyone eager to join the fun. Her home was a
place of Laughter, tradition, and togetherness.
Dominga dedicated her life to nurturing young minds and souls, instilling faith-fitted Catholic
Christian values with grace and compassion. Her Legacy lives on in the love she gave, the lessons
she taught, and the memories she created. Dominga was a Lifelong member of St. Margaret Mary
Catholic Church/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Dominga is survived by her children, her daughters, Leticia P. Dimas of Lamesa, TX., lrma Hale (Jeff)
of Dallas, TX., Angelica P. Martinez (Jorge) of Odessa, TX., and Angelita P. Noland (Bill) of Lamesa,
TX.; her sons, Alfonso V. Perez of Midland, TX., Hector V. Perez (Shelli) of Gail, TX., and Armando V.
Perez (Lourdes) of Eagle Pass, TX.; 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous
relatives and friends.
