Danny Ybarra's Obituary
A Catholic funeral service mass will be celebrated for Danny Ybarra, age 39, of Ackerly, Texas at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Margaret Mary Cahtolic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow to Ackerly Cemetery at Ackerly, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, May 14th at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Danny passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring, Texas. He was born on October 17, 1975 in Lamesa, Texas. Danny worked as a farmer. His hobbies included spending time with loved ones and watching The Tonight's Show's Jimmy Falen, he never missed an episode. Danny loved expressing his love for his family.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Ignacia Ybarra; his brother, Albert Ybarra.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Amanda Galaviz of Ackerly, Texas; his son, Jalen Ybarra of Crane, Texas; his daughter, Layla Ybarra of Crane, Texas; his step-children, Desirre Galaviz, Makayla Galaviz, Ruby Galaviz, David Galaviz, all of Ackerly, Texas; his father, Santos Ybarra, Sr. of Ackerly, Texas; his brothers, Robert Ybarra and wife Kay of Abilene, Texas, Jesse Ybarra and wife, Misty of Big Spring, Texas, Santos Ybarra, Jr. and wife, Elsie of Lamesa, Texas, David Ybarra and wife, Diana of Lamesa, Texas; his sisters, Angie Medrano of Lamesa, Texas, Norma Zorola of Lamesa, Texas, Maggie Cuellar and husband, Paul of Ackerly, Texas, Irma Cantu and husband Steven of New Deal, Texas; his grandchild, Elle Arredondo.
