DANIEL PARRAZ's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Daniel Parraz age 71 of Lamesa, TX., at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Martin Pina officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Daniel passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday November 21. 2021 at home in Lamesa, TX. He was born on December 4, 1949 in Whorton, TX.
Daniel was preceded in death by his daughter, Lucinda Parraz Delgado; his parents, Guadalupe Parraz and Guadalupe Borrego Parraz; his brothers, Domingo Parraz, Sr., Steve Parraz, Tomas Parraz; his sisters, Lupe P. Renteria, Ophelia P. Cena; is beloved partner, Pauline Ramirez Delgado.
Daniel attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where he played his bass-guitar with the Sunday morning church choir. He loving listening to music, and spending time with family. Daniel was a long time employee with both Joe (Chepo) Gonzales concrete construction and Oscar Ortiz concrete construction.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Jackie Parraz, and his son, Mario Parraz, both of Lamesa, TX.; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; his brother, Johnny Parraz of Lamesa, TX.; his sisters, Mercedes Gonzales of Bastrop, TX., Mary Lou Parraz Barraza of North Platte, Nebraska, and Dora Hipolito of Hanford, California; numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
