CYNTHIA ANN MENDOZA's Obituary
A Catholic funeral mass of will be celebrated for Cynthia Ann Mendoza age 46 of Lamesa, TX. at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Monday, May 23, 2022 from 9:00am until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service staring at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Cynthia passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 in Odessa, TX. She was born February 16, 1976 in Lamesa, TX.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Casarez Mendoza, and her brother, Juan Mendoza.
She is survived by her daughter, Averia, her two sons, Nathan, and Marcus, her father, Domingo Mendoza, her brothers, Freddie Mendoza, and Bobby Mendoza, all of Lamesa, TX. Cynthia is leaving behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends.
Cynthia attended church at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Lamesa. She enjoyed spending time with her precious family and loving on her children. She loved playing pool, BBQ’s with family, making everyone around her laugh. She was witty, charming and the best to be around.
There are some that bring a light so bright to the world that even after they have gone the light remains. Cynthia was that light. She was a caring and loving sister, a devoted daughter and mother. She had a profound impact on the people around her and she will be missed greatly.
