A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Corina Lopez Couturiel, age 82 of Lamesa, Texas, as 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Septemaber 14, 2015 at St. Margarat Mary Catholic Church with Father Silta Santiago officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation will be on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
Corina passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2015 in Lamesa. She was born on March 12, 1933 in Karnes City, Texas. Corina married Joe Couturier on September 1954 in Big Spring, Texas. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Couturier, Sr.; her brothers, Jose Lopez, Jessie Lopez, Richard Lopez; her sisters, Sara Lopez, Lilly Barron, Louisa Serna; her grandson, Adam Rosales.
Corina is surived by her loving family, her sons, Joe Couturiel, Jr. of Lamesa, Mark Couturier of Lamesa, Armando Landeros of Tucson, AZ; her daughter, Norma Rosales of Lamesa; her sister, Yolanda Lopez of Lamesa; her brother, Frank Lopez of Lewisville, Texas. 16 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
