Chris Rodriguez Jr.'s Obituary
Funeral arrangements with a Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Chris Rodriguez, Jr. age, 68 of Lamesa, Texas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Paul Karikat officiating along with Deacon Daneil Valenzuela. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangments are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Chris passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1947 in Lamesa, Texas. Chris married Esperanza Castillo on September 29, 1978 in Lamesa, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ysabel Rodriguez.
Chris was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, reading books, loved watching TV Wrestling, the Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs and going to the casino. Chris was a very talented musician.
Survivors includes his most loving family, his wife, Esperanza Rodriguez of Lamesa, Texas; his two sons, Brian Rodriguez and Benji Rodiguez and daughter-in-law, Crystal Rodriguez, all of Lamesa, Texas; his father, Chris Rodriguez, Sr. of Lamesa, Texas; his brother, Jesse Rodriguez of Bastrop, Texas; his beloved grandchildren, Branden Rodriguez, Kamren Rodriguez, Braxten Rodriguez, Elijah Rodriguez, all of Lamesa, Texas.
