Funeral services of Christian burial for Catarina Garcia O'Balle, age 86, of Lamesa, Texas will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2014 at the New Hope Worship Center located at 1106 North Houston Avenue in Lamesa, Texas, with Pastor Richard Aguilar officiating. Interment will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing and visitation will be both Saturday and Sunday at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Catarina was called home on Friday, December 26, 2014 . She passed at her home in Lamesa.
She was born on November 17, 1928 in Kennedy, Texas. Catarina married Martin O'Balle in 1947 in Sinton, Texas. Her favorite Holy scripture was "Psalm 122".
Preceding Catarina in death was her beloved husband, Martin O'Balle, Sr.; her sons, Roman O'Balle, Raul O'Balle, Jose O'Balle, Leonires O'Balle; her grandson, Ernest O'Balle; her parents, Ignacion O'Balle, Sr. and Victoria O'Balle.
Catarina is survived by her loving family, her son, Martin O'Balle, Jr.; her daughters, Martha O'Balle, Maria Ogeda, Lise Olvera and husband, Clemente, Sr., all of Lamesa, Texas; Frances Cerna, Rosa Rodriguez, both of Big Spring, Texas, Esmerlda Gonzalez of Uvalde, Texas; her brother, Ignacion Garcia, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; her sister, Aurora Reyes of Runge, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren;
