Carolina Saenz Ramos' Obituary
A Catholic Funeral Service Mass for Carolina Saenz Ramos, age 83 of Lamesa, Texas are set for 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating and assisted by Deacon Robert Lopez of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church of Lubbock, Texas. Burial will follow to Lamesa Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Rosary services are schedule for Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Carolina passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on April 27, 1931 in Yorktown, Texas. Carolina married Ernest Ramos on December 9, 1965 in Lamesa, Texas. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
Carolina was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ramos, Sr.; her sons, Johnny Alonzo and Rene Ramos; her brother, Rudolfo Saenz; her parents, Jose and Susie Saenz.
Survivors include her sons, Jessie Alonzo and wife, Olivia, Jimmy Alonzo and wife, Vicky, Ernest Ramos, Jr., all of Lamesa, Texas; her daughters, Norma Barron and husband, Joe of Tyler, Texas, Nelda Lopez and husband, Henry of Lubbock, Texas, Nora Gonzales and husband, Benny of Arlington, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Diana Ramos of Lufkin, Texas; her brother, Abelardo "Lalo" Saenz of Lubbock, Texas; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearer's are, Ernest Jeremy Ramos, Anthony Ramos, Jarod Barron, Bryan Gonzales, Ralph Alonzo, Jessie Alonzo, Jr.
