Funeral services for Brittany Leeann Hernandez age 18 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 11, 2019 at the House of Prayer church located at 302 N. Ave. O in Lamesa with Pastor Liboryo Iglesias officiating. Interment will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m.
Brittany Leeann Hernandez passed away on Friday April 5, 2019 in Lubbock, TX. She was born on October 10, 2000 in Lamesa. TX. While in school she was a member of the school band and enjoyed playing her trumpet.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lobano and Mary Lou Hernandez, and her grandfather, Juan Garcia, Sr.
Brittany Leeann is survived by her parents, Jesse and Barbara Hernandez of Lamesa, ; her brothers, Jesse G. Hernandez, Jr. and fiancee, Anastasia Torres, and Malachi Hernandez, all of Lamesa; her grandmother, Gloria Garcia of Lamesa; her aunt, Benita Rosales and husband, Peter Rosales of Lamesa; her uncles, Juan Garcia and partner, Rogelio G. of Houston, TX., Ricky Garcia and wife, Victoria Garcia of Lubbock, TX., David Hernandez and wife, Veronica Hernandez of Lamesa, and Pete Hernandez of Lamesa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
