The Maxwell family and friends will gather for a Memorial service to Celebrate the Life of their beloved Bobbie Lee Maxwell at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church of Lamesa, TX. Funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Bobby Lee Maxwell age 68 of Lamesa, TX. passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, in Monahans, TX. He was born on October 13, 1957, in Lamesa, TX.
Bobbie is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Troy Lee Maxwell and Agnes Marie Maxwell; brother, Ernest Jackson; sisters, Ruby Hemphill “Bell”, Val Anderson, Gloria “Jean” Maxwell, Juanita Maxwell.
Bobbie attended Canyon College and later did some cement work with Mr. Mc Curley, did a little roustabout work and later worked at the Mid Atlantic Gin where he worked for almost 30 years, and later retired.
Those left to cherish Bobbie Maxwell’ memory are his family, his children, Ronice Parrett of Odessa, TX., Kaddafi Calicuitt of Lamesa, TX., Adrian Savage of Big Spring, TX., Danica Savage of Big Spring, TX., brothers, Robert Maxwell, Tony Maxwell, Willie Maxwell, all of Lamesa, TX., Billie Ray Hemphill of Dallas, TX., Stanley Maxwell of Temple, TX., Danny Anderson of Katy, TX., Calvin Anderson of San Angelo, TX., Michael Maxwell of Japan, Freddy Lee Hemphill of Dallas, TX., Troy Lee Maxwell of Midland, TX., and David Monahans, TX.; sisters, Ruth Maxwell (Richarson), Phillis Maxwell (Moore), Christine Maxwell of Lamesa, TX.; 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
