BENJAMIN CARBAJAL's Obituary
Funeral services to Celebrate the Life of Benjamin Carbajal age 50 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with officiant Pastor Isaac Betancourt. The burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
The viewing will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and Friday, May 22, 2026, with Inspirational Service starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Benjamin passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on June 13, 1975, in Lamesa, Texas.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his father, Ambrosio Carbajal, Sr., and his mother, Anacelia Carbajal; his brother, Ambrosio Carbajal, Jr.; his niece, Linda Carbajal.
Benjamin was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan! He enjoyed watching Wrestling, car shows, Gilmore Girls, and sports on T.V. Benjamin enjoyed listening to music, visiting with family and friends.
Benjamin is survived by his family, his sisters, Yolanda C. Saenz and husband, Rudy Saenz of Odessa, TX., Estella Carbajal, and Lucinda Carbajal, both of Lamesa, Texas; his brother, Alexander Carbajal and wife, Hilda Carbajal of Midland, Texas.; his nephews and nieces, Cesar Sanchez, Keren Lopez and husband, Phillip Lopez, Alexandra Tavarez and husband, Marcos Tavarez of Odessa, TX., Eli Carbajal, Abraham Carbajal, Luis Samaniego, and Ramon Samaniego and wife, Susana Samaniego; his aunts, Ricarda Villegas, and Alicia Martinez; his uncle, Rolando Gomez and wife Maria Louisa Gomez; numerous relatives, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Honoring Benjamin Carbajal as his Pallbearers are Amos Martinez, Andrew Morales, Jr., Anthony Morales, Daniel Perez, Lupe Martinez, Jr., Ramon Samaniego.
