Catholic funeral graveside services for Antonio Perez age 86 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday November 11, 2020 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Father Martin Pina officiating. Face masks are required both at funeral home and cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Due to Covid-19 area situations, we continued with public safety measures.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. on Monday November 9, 2020 and Tuesday November 10, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Rosary prayer services both nights starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Antonio passed away on Saturday November 7, 2020 in Lamesa, TX. He was born on June 13, 1934 in San Pedro Del Gallo, Durango, Mexico. Antonio married Dominga Verastigui on March 21, 1961 in Lamesa, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Justina Perez; 13 brothers and 3 sisters.
Antonio was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, worked most of his life as farm labor, loved working in his yard and garden, he had a green thumb that family and friends appreciated. He loved all animals big and small.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Dominga V. Perez of Lamesa, TX; his daughters, Leticia P. Dimas and husband, Robert of Lamesa, TX.; Irma P. Hale and husband Jeff of Dallas, TX., Angelica P. Martinez and husband Jorge of Odessa, TX.; Angelita P. Noland and husband William of Lamesa, TX.; his sons, Alfonso Perez and partner Belia of Midland, TX., Hector Perez and wife Shelli of Midland, TX., and Armando Perez and wife Lourdes of Eagle Pass, TX.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; his brother, Justo Perez of Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico; several nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
