ANACELIA CARBAJAL's Obituary
Funeral services for Anacelia Carbajal, age 80 of Lamesa, TX., will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 25, 2022 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Geno Salazar officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Thursday, November 24, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. An Inspirational service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Anacelia passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 21, 2022 in Lamesa, TX. She was born December 27, 1941 in Hebbronville, TX. Anacelia married Ambrosio Carbajal on November 11, 1955 in Lamesa, TX.
Anacelia was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrosio Carbajal, Sr.; her son, Ambrosio Carbajal, Jr.; her father, Martin Gomez, and her mother Flavia Sifuentes Gomez; her brother, Felipe Gomez; her sisters, Gloria Gallegos, Arnilia Fuentez, Maria Villegas, Evangelina Gomez, Graciela Gomez; her grand-daughter, Linda Carbajal.
Anacelia loved attending her church New Life in Christ where she was a faithful member. Anacelia enjoyed reading her Bible, cooking, crafts, and loved spending precious time with her family and friends.
Anacelia is survived by her sons, Alexander Carbajal and wife Hilda Carbajal are of Midland, TX., Benjamin Carbajal is from Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Yolanda Saenz and husband Rudy Saenz are from Odessa, TX, Estella Carbajal, Lucinda Carbajal, both are from Lamesa, TX;10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
