Chapel funeral services for Amado Palacios age 93 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2019 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Saul Hernandez officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Viewing will be held on Monday with a Rosary prayer service starting at 6:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Amado passed away on Sunday January 5, 2019 in Lamesa. He was born on September 10, 1925 in Guanajuato, Mexico. Amado married Ana Silvia Alvarado on September 12, 2009 in Lamesa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Palacios.
Amado worked for over 30 years for the Moreno family of Lamesa in the masonry-concrete business.
Amado is survived by his wife, Ana Sylvia Alvarado Palacios of Lamesa; his sons, Francisco Reyes and wife, Lidya Reyes of Lamesa, and Jesus Reyes of Aguas-Calientes, MX.; his daughters, Veronica Garcia and husband, Julian Garcia of Lamesa, and Monica Palacios of Cuidad de Mexico, MX.; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Garica, Julian Garcia, Francisco Reyes, Maria Reyes, Miguel Reyes, all of Lamesa, and Idalis Reyes of Big Spring, Texas; several friends.
