Alfredo Rodriguez's Obituary
A Catholic funeral Mass will be celebrated for Alfredo Rodriguez, age 94 of Houston, Texas, and formally of Lamesa, at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 26, 2014 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Joseph Kurumbel officiating. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:00p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home. Chapel.
Mr. Alfredo Rodriquez died peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2014, after a brief illness at his home in Houston, Texas. Alfredo was born on May 9, 1920 in Skidmore, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mercedes Rodriguez in 1993; his grandson, Gilbert A. Rodriguez in 2012.
Alfredo is survived by his loving family, two children, daughter, Rosario Lopez of Houston, Texas; his son, Fernando Rodriguez and wife, Frances Rodriguez of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Charles Rodriguez, Chris, Michael, Rachel and Martin Lopez, all of Houston, Texas; 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, family relatives and many friends in Houston and Lamesa.
