Alberto (Applehead) Gloria Jr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Alberto Gloria, Jr. (aka: Applehead), age 35 of Lamesa, Texas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of O'Donnell, Texas, with Pastor Lee Gamez officiating. Burial will follow to the O'Donnell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas.
Albert passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at UMC hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
Family visitation and viewing are set for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Gonzales Funeral Home. An Inspirational Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Albert was born on December 28, 1980 in Lamesa. He graduated from O'Donnell High School class of 1999. Albert was employed with Britt Trucking as a mechanic and Safety-tech. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Albert brighten a room with his smile and he always enjoyed singing.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Manuel Gutierrez, Sr. and his grandmother, Inez Gutierrez.
Albert is survived by his loving family, his wife, Melony Hernandez of Lamesa, Texas; his daughters, Giauna Gisele Gloria of Lamesa, Texas and Zaelan Shayann Gloria of O'Donnell, Texas; his step-son, Joevon Balderas of Lamesa, Texas; his father, Alberto Gloria, Sr. and his mother, Isabel Gutierrez Gloria, of O'Donnell, Texas; his brother John Paul Gloria of O'Donnell, Texas; his sisters, Denise Villarreal of Lamesa, Texas and Monica Gonzales of O'Donnell, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers will be, John Paul Gloria, Willie Villarreal, Raymond Gonzales, Jake Valdez, Landry Villarreal, Jeffery Gloria. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jace Gloria, Joshua Gloria, Joevon Balderas.
