Funeral services for Agustin Ypina Leija, age 61 of Lamesa, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel with officiating Pastor Maria S. Rios of Big Spring, Texas. Burial will follow to Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangement are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home of Lamesa, Texas
Viewing will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at Gonzales Funeral Home until 9:00 p.m.
Agustin was called by his Lord Jesus Christ to "come home", on Sunday, March 13, 2016 in Lamesa, Texas. He was born on August 18, 1955 in San Luis Potosi, Mexcio.
While we said goodbye to one wonderful, inspiring, loving and caring man, a true man of God he was, inside and outside, speaking the Word of The Lord to everyone he met. Preaching the Gospel everywhere that he could. He ministered and cared for the children in the projects, as well as to their families. Winning people over for The Lord! He was a part of Kairos prison ministries, reaching out to those men and women behind bars Agustin love The Lord so very much, his passion for Him was unlimited. A true disciple of God! He was the Spanish Pastor for First United Methodis Church for many years. When Agustin told you, "I love you and God bless you", he really meant it. He leaves behind a legacy. He made wonderful friends along the way on his journey with The Lord and truly inspired others by allowing God's love to flow through him.
