Family and friends will gather in remembrance of Antonia A. Martinez age 79 of O’Donnell, TX. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Gonzales Funeral Home for the viewing from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements under the trusted care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
Antonia passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday April 12, 2025, in O’Donnell, TX. She was born on April 16, 1945, in Kenedy, TX. Antonia was married to Adan Martinez, he preceded her in death on May 14, 2023.
Antonia is preceded in death by her husband Adan Martinez; her son, Ramon Guillen; her grandsons, Anthony Guillen and Enrique Guillen, Jr.; her grand-daughters, Ameena Jimerson and Azaley Wallace; her parents, Ramon and Isabelle Alvear; her brothers, Louis Alvear and Rudy Alvear.
Antonia grew up working in the fields. She loved spending time with family and friends. But her favorite hobbies were going to the Flea Markets, going to Jamaica’s, and fishing. She enjoyed going to Garage Sales.
Antonia is survived by her daughters, Guadalupe Alford (Tony) of O’Donnell, TX., and Tonie E. Guillen of Odessa, TX.; her sons, Enrique L. Guillen of Lamesa, TX., and Jose L. Guillen of Pampa, TX.; 13 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
