Sylvia Ramon age 62 of Lamesa, TX., passed away February 9, 2022 at her home in Lamesa. She married Peter Ramon on August 14, 1983 in Lamesa, TX. She will now be reunited with her late son little Peter, her father Rudy, sister Lily, brother Manuel, nephew Jacob and her cat Willy. Survivors include her husband, Peter Ramon, her mother Mary Ybanez, sons Derek Ramon (Jessica Ramon), Marc Ramon (Marcie Ramon), brothers, David Ybanez, Gabriel Ybanez (Terry Ybanez), Rudy Ybanez. Grandchildren Kristen Ramon, Lilian Ramon, Johnathan, Ramon, Nehemiah Ramon, Deven Ramon, MJ Ramon, Kyilee Ramon, Ethan Martinez, Ayden Martinez, and William Cerna. She managed KFC for 33 years in Lamesa. Then retired in 2010 to watch her grandchildren grow, spending days doing puzzles, coloring, baking, and building forts. They cherished her and the time she gave them. She was loved by many never judging anyone always giving second chances. Her heart was so big it could fit everyone and anyone. She treasured her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews. Also had love for her “KFC Kids” as she would say. “To the world you’re a mother, but to our family you are the world” Arrangements are under the care of Gonzales Funeral Home.
