A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Paula Ramirez Delgado age 92 of Lamesa, TX., at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, and on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. A Rosary prayer service will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Paula passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 15, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. She was born on January 15, 1929 in Lamesa, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon C. Delgado; her father, Domingo Ramirez and her mother, Juana Rodriguez; her sisters, Simona Samora, Amelia Garza, Dominga Guzman; her brothers, Manuel Ramirez, Rey Ramirez, Lalo Ramirez; her grandson, Jeremiah Delgado. Paula attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She loved to dance, listen to music, and spend time with family. She enjoyed sewing and cooking her favorite “Caldos” on Sundays. Paula is survived by her beloved partner, Daniel Parraz of Lamesa, TX.; her sons, Raymond Delgado (Rebecca) of Lakeworth, TX., Roland Delgado, Sr. of Lamesa, TX., Robert Delgado (Cece) of Lamesa, TX., Ray Delgado (Billie) of Greenwood, TX., Reynaldo Delgado (Luisa) of Lamesa, TX., Rumaldo Delgado of Lamesa, TX., and Roland “Nune” Delgado, Jr. of Odessa, TX.; her daughters, Janie Gonzalez(Juan) of Lamesa, TX., Dottie Morales (Larry) of Lamesa, TX., Irma Delgado Jarrett of Lamesa, TX., and Priscilla Ayala (Joey) of Odessa, TX.; 44 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren; several relatives and friends.
